Active Ageing Lead – North Northamptonshire Council
The post holder you will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of Active Ageing and menopause-informed activities across priority communities by embedding older people and menopause-informed interventions into existing Active Ageing pathways, ensuring accessibility and cultural relevance.You will be promoting everyday movement opportunities in parks, community venues, and warm spaces, aligned with This Girl Can principles and recruiting, training, and supporting staff, volunteers, and community leaders to deliver Active Ageing and menopause-informed programmes confidently.You will represent NNC at meetings with partners and present successes and results to the funders Northamptonshire Sport and Sport England.Most importantly you will work to build and maintain strong relationships with residents, community groups, health and care services, leisure providers, and local stakeholders and strengthen referral routes between community activity, social groups, and health and care services.
