The purpose of this role: To carry out road safety operations, supporting all associated activities including traffic data collection / deployment and associated reporting.
Job description
We are seeking an organised and motivated person to work as part of our Mobile Enforcement Team. This role requires an individual with good communication skills, self-motivation, and experience in troubleshooting.
As a Mobile Speed Camera van operator, you will be working across Northamptonshire; operating within the confines of an enforcement vehicle and from a tripod at the side of the road, detecting speeding and other offences such as not wearing a seatbelt or using a mobile phone. You will work unsupervised and will be required to undertake the manual handling of equipment necessary for the role. Lastly, you will need the physical and emotional resilience to deal with challenging situations in the course of your duties.
