An exciting opportunity to join the Healthcare Team at HMP Bedford, a Category B male prison, as a Team Administrator. This role offers a meaningful contribution to the health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation of individuals within the custodial environment by providing vital administrative and business support.

As a Team Administrator, you will support the effective day-to-day running of healthcare services within the prison. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently to support high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the healthcare team
- Manage diaries, meetings, and minute-taking as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and patient information systems
- Support the coordination of clinics, appointments, and referrals
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Process correspondence, documentation, and confidential information in line with policies

Experience- Booking clinics and managing clinicians' ledgers
- Take minutes in clinical and operational meetings
- Able to use Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Inputting data into local and national databases
- Maintain correct clinical systems data for service users
- Working in prison or secure estate
- Maintaining local databases

- Working at times without direct supervision
