Main duties of the job: The post holder will lead on the delivery of nurse-delivered clinics and link with other healthcare services within the prison. You will work closely with primary care leads and external specialist services to ensure that sexual health needs are met for both male and female populations. You will support NHFT Sexual Health management strategies and work to implement models of service delivery, working practices, and productivity/efficiencies across the nursing workforce. You will represent the service at designated meetings to develop these strategies. This role is split across two sites, with travel between sites required. Covered sites are:
- HMP Bedford β a category B reception and resettlement prison for young adult and adult men.
- Yarlβs Wood IRC β an immigration removal center with a total operational capacity of 474, with the majority of male residents, some units for male short-term holds, and a unit for up to 58 female residents.

Person Specification: Desirable qualifications include Stif course qualification in level 1 and 2, either completed or working towards or willing to be upskilled in Cervical Screening, NMP Registration, experience of working in secure services IRC/HMP or equivalent, experience with working in the sexual health pathway, working towards or has got NMP qualification, experience of managing staff, experience of leading a service, evidence of good communication skills, able to work as on-call manager, experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, close collaboration with Heads of Healthcare to embed NHS Values, and ability to work autonomously developing sexual health services with a focus on sexual health inequalities.

Salary: Β£47,810 to Β£54,710 per year. On-call allowance included where applicable.
