Are you ready to make a real difference in safeguarding children across Northamptonshire? As part of the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service (SQAS), you'll play a vital role in supporting our frontline teams who work tirelessly to protect and advocate for children. You'll be based at either One Angel Square, Northampton or William Knibb Centre, Kettering, giving you flexibility in where you work. In this role, you'll support the Team Leader by managing a dedicated team of administrators who provide essential support to Independent Reviewing Officers and Child Protection Chairs.
Responsibilities
- Providing resilient administrative support to senior managers across all SQAS functions.
- Coordinating the Business Support Team's activities, monitoring workloads, allocating tasks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Managing and developing your team, from delivering effective inductions to coaching, mentoring, and driving performance to achieve SMART outcomes.
- Ensuring systems and procedures for the Business Support Team are in place and adhered to.
- Promoting new ways of working and technology, identifying training needs and supporting staff development.
- Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information principles.
- Providing cover for the Business Support Team Leader when needed, ensuring continuity and high standards.
Qualifications
