What will you be doing?

All NQSWs will undertake the ASYE, a structured program to help you transition into your role with mentorship, training, and skill-building opportunities.

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people requiring social work support
  • Work alongside experienced social workers on complex cases
  • Conduct assessments, visit children and families, and carry out direct work
  • Develop and review care plans prioritising children’s best interests

About you

To join our ASYE program as an NQSW, you must be:

  • Degree-qualified in Social Work (undergraduate or postgraduate)
  • In your final year of study, awaiting results, or recently qualified
  • Passionate about improving children and families\’ lives
  • Able to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
  • In the process of obtaining your Social Work England registration
  • Able to drive and have access to a vehicle or actively learning to do so
  • Have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Able to speak fluent English
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and SW England registration required
