About the role
Are you looking for a position that is challenging, rewarding, interesting and fast paced? Gainsborough Road Family Resource Centre in Corby hosts court directed contact or family time as well as a variety of services for children and families in the community. You will be providing front-line reception support as well as administrative support to the Safeguarding teams on the ground, providing support to and signposting members of the public to the appropriate professional within Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
The operational hours of the service is 9.00-5.30 and this post will be 30 hours a week over 4 days Monday - Thursday. The salary advertised is pro rata and hourly rate £12.69.
What will you be doing?
- You will provide an effective, polite and courteous welcoming service to visitors.
- Co-ordinating events effectively within the locality, taking meeting bookings and ensuring the location is prepared appropriately.
- You will respond to queries and requests for support from the teams within the Location and work closely and jointly with the other Administrators as required to ensure continuity of support for Children Services.
- Whilst based at Gainsborough Road you will need to cover other locations as and when required.
About you
- You are an experienced customer service orientated administrative assistant, educated to GCSE or equivalent standard.
- You are a strong confident communicator both verbal and written, using multiple channels.
- You have experience and enjoy working within a fast changing, dynamic environment.
- You have experience of working or volunteering in a customer focused environment.
