Are you interested in Daventry's past? Are you a keen researcher? Would you like to learn and share your knowledge of the local area by becoming a steward? If so, we would love to hear from you! All ages and abilities are welcome. We are a friendly group, so don't be scared to get in touch!
You won't need specific qualifications; we are looking for someone who enjoys history, has a positive and friendly attitude, and is able to volunteer as part of a team. Our volunteers are valued members of the museum team and carry out a range of roles, from stewarding the museum during opening hours and researching objects for new exhibitions, to assisting with events, school visits, and outreach sessions in the community.
Volunteering is a fabulous way to meet and make new friends, learn new skills, which can also look good on your CV, if needed! Please get in touch to have a chat about our opportunities. We are open Tuesday to Friday mornings and afternoons and also open on the first Saturday of the month.
