Since 2006, Blisworth Baptist Church has had its doors open to the Coffee House on Tuesday mornings. The Community Café is open to everyone, providing refreshments e.g. tea, coffee, and cakes for no charge, but there is a contribution bowl.
They are looking for volunteers to:
- Set the counter in the mornings from about 9.15
- Help with serving the refreshments
- Wash up through the morning
- Clean surfaces and wipe down the tables at the end of the session
Skills: To have a friendly positive can-do attitude, be prepared to have lots of conversations, meet new people, and primarily support the rest of the team in serving.
