We are looking for volunteers to cook breakfast, which includes cooking bacon, eggs and sausages etc!
We are also looking for volunteers to make teas and coffees and toast!
We are a very friendly team of mainly volunteers, and training will be provided. It\βs a good way to support your community, meet new people, increase confidence and skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The New Street cafe is a community hub for elderly people to come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some great cooked breakfasts, and a place where they can chat to others and make new friends. We are open on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays for breakfast and on Thursdays we cook a community lunch, we also have knit and natter on a Wednesday!
Our menu has a great selection of breakfast options at affordable prices which includes:
- Bacon or sausage sandwiches
- Full English breakfast
- Toast
- Toasted fruit loaf or Teacakes etc.
