Performing Arts (PA) Technician required for September 2026. NSB Trust Support Staff Scale point 3 £24,796 FTE using April 2025 NJC rates (£11,199.97 to £13,999.96 Actual, dependent on hours). 20 to 25 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days) 9:00am‑1:00pm/2:00pm daily (exact hours confirmed on appointment).

About the Role

Would you like to be part of an exciting journey by joining a newly opened and growing school, based at our brand-new site with outstanding facilities off Thorpeville, to start at the beginning of the new academic year? Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to work as an integral part of our highly successful Performing Arts Team working closely with other school staff to support students’ learning in the classroom as well as our extracurricular provision. Previous experience of working in a school would be beneficial but is not essential. Due to the nature of the role, we will need the successful applicant to have a degree of flexibility in their working hours, to support a small number of performances every year.
