About the Role
Would you like to be part of an exciting journey by joining a newly opened and growing school, based at our brand-new site with outstanding facilities off Thorpeville, to start at the beginning of the new academic year? Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to provide technical support for the school’s pupils, staff, parents, governors and visitors whilst working towards and completing an apprenticeship as a Level 3 IT Technician. Working within a busy IT services team supporting up to 1,100 users, the role involves first‑line support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and assisting with the effective use of digital technologies that support teaching and learning. The post holder will contribute to the smooth operation of Trust IT systems and classroom technologies, while adhering to data protection, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements. This is a developmental role, with a strong focus on learning, skills development, and progression within IT support.
