Location: Hinckley Salary: £30,000 basic, OTE up to £60,000 Hours: 42.5-hour contract – 5 days a week * Monday-Friday: 10am-7pm * Saturday: 10am-6pm * Sunday: 10am-4pm Benefits: * 28 Days Holiday * Excellent career progression opportunities * Training and development provided * Please note: A company car is not provided for this position The Role: A fast-growing, independent used car retailer is looking for a Used Car Sales Controller to join their team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a strong customer base and a large selection of vehicles on-site. You will be responsible for managing the sales team, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, support, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets. * Oversee the performance of the site and step in for the General Manager when needed. * Ensure the sales process is followed, providing coaching and guidance to staff. * Identify opportunities to support sales staff in closing deals. * Monitor compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. * Audit financial documents and sales figures to ensure accuracy. * Help drive site performance and customer satisfaction. The Ideal Candidate: * Experience in used car sales, ideally in a high-volume environment. * A hands-on leader who leads by example. * Strong motivational and time management skills. * A results-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer service. * Presentable, professional, and confident in dealing with customers. * FCA accredited (or willing to complete training). * Prior experience in a car supermarket or high-volume dealership is advantageous.
