What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a daily queue of allocated customer accounts
- Contacting customers via phone, email, text, and letter to discuss arrears and agree suitable repayment plans
- Offering forbearance options where a payment plan isn’t the right approach
- Handling inbound calls and customer queries with professionalism and care
- Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure the right outcomes
- Liaising with debt management agencies when appropriate
- Taking manual payments securely over the phone
- Reviewing customer credit information and maintaining accurate records
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in credit control, collections, or customer finance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and data entry skills
- Comfortable working with databases and computer systems
