The Northampton Public Schools is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year! Pay Rate: $120.00 per day Duties: Managing a classroom with or without a lesson plan. Requirements: Experience with children. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Benefits: There are no benefits with substitute teacher positions. IF HIRED: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of employment. We use Frontline which is an online absence management system. School Hours: Northampton High School 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 1/2 day - 9:00 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. JFK Middle School 8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. 1/2 day - 8:30 a.m. - 12:25 p.m. Elementary Schools (4) Bridge Street – PreK-5 Jackson Street - K-5 Leeds – PreK-5 Ryan Road - K-5 8:00 - 2:10 p.m. 1/2 day - 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
