We are looking to employ the right candidate to join our busy workshop team to keep up with our increasing demand.
We require a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced technician with a passion for all things with wheels ranging from modern to vintage.
Our work is very varied with car types ranging from modern to classic and from competition cars to daily drivers. But one thing that links them all is that our customers are enthusiasts who love their cars and appreciate quality workmanship. We specialise in engine upgrades, electronics and engine management, suspension upgrades and geometry set up as well as maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles. The work is fast paced but also very eclectic and interesting.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to manage their own workload. They must be able to assess and problem solve, as many cars come in for a specific job but have other problems that need to be resolved first.
They must be experienced in car repair and diagnosis, ideally with good knowledge of electronics, suspension systems and have good fabrication skills.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the retail motor trade as a technician qualified to level 3 light vehicle engineering or proven experience as a technician working in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with proficiency in vehicle electrics.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
- Fabrication skills with experience of tig welding aluminium and steel (desirable).
- Good understanding of vehicle dynamics, suspension set up and adjustment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate with customers who often visit our workshop and like to discuss the work with our technicians.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: competitive and negotiable depending on experience. Overtime at (1.5x).
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 with ½ hour lunch with occasional Saturday mornings.
Driving Licence: (required)
