Salary: £13,585.50 Actual. £27,171 FTE

What you’ll be doing

The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the audio-visual systems to facilitate Teaching and Learning, and to provide technical and practical support to pupils, staff and external hirers across the theatre.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

  • Knowledge of audio mixing desks (mixers)
  • Knowledge of audio and video equipment including cabling
  • Knowledge of stage lighting and lighting desks
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of multiple DAWs (Reaper, Cubase, Audacity etc.)
  • Experience of diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Experience of recording and editing audio, video and image files
  • Experience of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience of mixing live audio
  • Experience of video recording live events
  • Experience of photographing events for publication
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance to users in their use of AV equipment
  • Experience of working in education
  • Experience creating content for social media
