We are seeking Minibus Drivers to join our team of casual drivers who provide support to cover staff absences for transporting our students to/from school Monday - Friday, term time only. The morning shift starts at 06:00 with the afternoon shift starting at 15:15 and shifts will vary depending on requirements. There may be other ad hoc opportunities for supporting events across the school calendar during term-time, which might include driving students to sports fixtures or school trips.
You will join a friendly and very welcoming team of both permanent and casual drivers.
Key requirements include:
- A valid Category D1 driving licence (preferred) with a satisfactory driving record
- Have/be prepared to take the MIDAS qualification
- The ability to react calmly in emergency situations
- Over 21 years of age
- Have/be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification
- IT proficiency
- Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus
