Our brand new state of the art private dental clinic in the heart of Northampton will be opening in the summer 2026. We pride ourselves in offering a full range of high quality and affordable dental treatments to residents of Northampton and surrounding Northamptonshire areas.

Duties:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
  • Perform basic dental procedures such as cleanings and fluoride treatments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Cover reception desk when required
  • Take and record vital signs of patients
  • Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Qualified Dental Nurse
  • Excellent time management skills & work ethic
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
  • Current certification in dental nursing
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
  • Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
