Skills and Qualifications
- Aptitude and/or experience of coaching and/or tutoring and/or teaching
- Ability to effectively engage and manage groups of students
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing, verbally, and through active listening with a diverse group of colleagues, students and stakeholders
- Ability to use a range of Information Technology (IT)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks through to completion within prescribed deadlines
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to provide a responsive and professional level of customer service at all times
- English and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above/willingness to obtain, or equivalent skill level
- Academic qualification relevant to subject specialism
- Qualified Teacher (Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)/Certificate in Education (CertEd) or Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS))
- Industry Specialist / Entry‑level Teacher Option
- Qualifications and/or equivalent experience at Level 3 in a relevant subject/discipline, with a requirement to undertake the teaching qualification (sponsored by the College).
