We are recruiting for a QSHE Coordinator to join a well‑established manufacturing business in the Wellingborough area. This is a hands‑on, systems‑focused role supporting the Managing Director and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure environmental, compliance, and management systems are maintained to a high standard across the site. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible. You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site.
QSHE Coordinator Role
- You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S Manager
- Completing approximately 30 internal audits per year
- Supporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implemented
- Managing environmental compliance and waste management processes
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
- Recording and monitoring water and energy usage
- Completing Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance records
- Conducting technical waste assessments using MDS
- Assessing recyclability, hazardous materials, and chemical breakdown of waste streams
- Supporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reporting
- Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured, and audit ready
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturing
- Experience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
- Experience with audits and compliance documentation
- Environmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficial
- Confident working independently and supporting senior leadership
- A structured and methodical approach to work
