Part‑Time Bookkeeper Wellingborough (22.5 hours per week) £15.00 - £16.00 Per hour (pro rata of £29‑£31k)

Our client, a long‑established and friendly small business based in Wellingborough, is seeking an experienced Part‑Time Bookkeeper to join their team. This position has become available due to a long‑standing employee relocating, and offers a stable, supportive working environment with a true job‑share set‑up. Key Responsibilities- Core Bookkeeping Duties
- Completing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing payroll journals for accountant‑provided data, posting to Sage, and setting up salary payments
- Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (e.g., profit & loss)
- Preparing and processing VAT returns and supporting accountants with tax preparation
- Maintaining organised financial documentation, receipts, and invoices
- Working confidently with Sage Line 50, Word and Excel
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Answering incoming calls and handling general enquiries
- Entering conveyance tickets to generate sales invoices using Excel and Word
- Posting invoices onto Sage once issued
- Providing general administrative support, including typing quotes and RAMS when required
- Supplying financial information for insurance renewals
- Experienced in bookkeeping within a small business environment
- Confident using Sage Line 50
- Organised, accurate, and able to manage their own workload
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable supporting a close‑knit team
22.5 hours per week Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
