The Trailer Driver Role
As a Trailer Driver, you will join a highly professional transport team responsible for the UK-wide delivery of world-renowned bespoke vehicles, transported via secure enclosed trailers. Safety, precision, and customer service are at the heart of this role.
You will be the face of the brand during vehicle handovers, providing customers with a full demonstration and ensuring complete satisfaction before returning to the Daventry site. When not out on delivery, you will support the transport team on site, helping ensure each vehicle leaves in exceptional condition. This may include valeting, housekeeping duties, stores support, and general preparation activities as well as supporting with the transport of vehicles to testing sites UK wide.
What We’re Looking for in a Trailer Driver
- A Full UK Driving Licence (subject to regular checks)
- To be over the age of 25 due to insurance and vehicle categories
- A Valid Trailer Licence (CPC / C1E / CE) or a minimum of 5 years’ professional trailer driving experience
- Proven experience driving large, enclosed trailers carrying high-value cargo
- Confidence driving long distances UK-wide
- A highly customer-focused approach with a friendly and professional manner
- The ability to carry out vehicle detailing to a high standard (or willingness to learn)
- A mechanically minded attitude, capable of routine fleet maintenance and cleaning
- Ability to complete time logs and support transport administration
- Experience in loading and unloading high-value vehicles safely
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to change
- Flexibility with working hours, including long shifts when required
Hours and Salary
Hours: 41.25 hours per week (flexibility required)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE) + Benefits
