Are you a recent graduate or junior engineer who loves detail and ensures nothing gets missed? This is an exciting opportunity that doesn't come around often! You will be fully involved in the process of quoting for precision manufacturing work to be done, making sure everything is considered. These parts are being manufactured for F1, high-end motorsport & automotive businesses!
You will be working within an expanding precision machining business, who supply complex parts to a number of high-end names in the motorsport and F1 industry. They have a small team of engineers, working within a newly refurbished environment. The business has just acquired a new facility, so things are extremely positive with this growing business.
You will be tasked with looking at complex engineering drawings of CNC machined components. You will need to gain an understanding of how long each process would take to manufacture the part as well as the cost of material and tooling. You will be working with specialist quotation software to take all things into account, making sure each part is quoted correctly and competitively for the customer.
What we need from you:
- Degree level education in automotive, motorsport or mechanical engineering
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as CNC milling & turning
