Why this role?
This isn\’t your typical sales job. There\’s no cold calling – you\’ll be nurturing warm leads, responding to inbound enquiries, and unlocking opportunities within existing accounts. You\’ll be the most senior person in sales, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate complex product ranges and technical solutions.
What you\’ll be doing
- Managing and growing existing accounts
- Building strong relationships and spotting opportunities for growth
- Leading the full sales lifecycle – from enquiry to post-sale support
- Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to deliver smart, tailored solutions
- Mentoring junior team members and bringing energy to a quiet but capable team
- Using CRM tools to track leads, actions, and customer journeys
- Occasionally visiting high-value customers, with most interactions via Teams, phone, or email
