Freelance Site Manager – Northampton – 12-Month Project Location: Northampton General Hospital, Cliftonville, Northampton, NN1 5BD Start Date: 1st July 2025 Rate: £300.00 per day Contract: Freelance, 12-month minimum – potential for longer-term opportunities We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a major new build healthcare project valued at £10 million at Northampton General Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team known for delivering complex projects with precision and professionalism. The Project: A large-scale new build healthcare facility on a live hospital site. You’ll play a central role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery alongside a part-time Contracts Manager. Key Responsibilities: Managing daily site activities and subcontractor coordination Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across the site Producing and implementing RAMS Liaising with visiting Contracts Manager and client-side stakeholders Maintaining quality standards and keeping the build on programme Driving performance through proactive problem-solving and leadership Requirements: First Aid at Work(Essential) CSCS Card(Essential) SMSTS(Desirable) Strong track record of running similar value projects Excellent communication and organisational skills Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM *Some flexibility may be required based on project demands.
