Are you a Design Engineer from a Structural/Civil Engineering background, looking take the next step in your career with a company who will invest in your Chartership and professional development?
On offer is a varied role within a highly skilled team, where you will be involved with exciting global projects within the construction industry and playing a key role within this very successful company.
The company specialises in the design and manufacturing of equipment used within the construction industry and large steel structures. Their equipment has been used for a variety of high-profile projects worldwide, and due to their continued success, they are now looking for a new addition to their team.
The day to day of this role will include complete project management cycles as well as the hand on design of steel structures and heavy lifting equipment. The successful candidate will have a direct progression route to becoming a Principal Engineer for the company.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working on structural steel projects, preferably Steel. The ideal candidate will be able to understand FEA calculations. Being a Chartered Engineer is advantageous but not essential and is on offer if needed.
The Role:
- Design of large steel structures / components used within the construction industry (using AutoCAD)
- Finite element analysis and calculations
- Monday to Friday, 7:45am-4:15pm, office-based role (may have occasional international site visits)
The Person:

- Must be able to do FEA calculations
- Experience using CAD (AutoCAD)
