Senior Control Systems Engineer
Northamptonshire

We are working closely with an engineering consultancy who are actively looking for a senior member within their software controls team within their wider powertrains division.
This engineering consultancy are a famous name within the Automotive and Motorsport world, known for delivering high quality projects, working hand in hand with automotive OEM\’s to be trusted with their most high-end, high-performance projects.
With the automotive world changing, their team is evolving to support these OEM\’s with the next generation of Hybrid and Electric Powertrains for the niche vehicle market, and this is where this role adds a lot of value!
This role has been created to help develop their control systems engineering processes within the software team. Developing their software algorithms within MATLAB software, with the goal to be compliant within a range of automotive standards to open more doors for support within future automotive projects. On top of being trusted with leading this companies technical direction in software development, you\’ll also be working closely with multiple other departments to deliver these high-performance projects and be the voice in the room for the software requirements needed for the project.
As a permanent member of the team, you\’ll be eligible to flexible hours around their core hours, and with up to 2 days per week from home, with some flexibility needed due to the project-based nature of their work.
