SEN Tutor – Towcester Primary or Secondary | £25–£30 per hour

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN tutor looking to make a real difference?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to work with students in the Towcester area, supporting those with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, PDA, and other neurodiverse profiles. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is confident in delivering tailored, one-to-one support across Maths and English at either primary or secondary level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, personalised tuition sessions for students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Plan and implement structured, differentiated schemes of work tailored to each learner’s needs and goals.
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN, especially ASD, ADHD, and PDA.
  • Confident teaching Maths and English across the primary or secondary curriculum.
  • Able to assess needs, plan effectively, and deliver individualised lessons.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
