ROV/Drone Operator

Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for ROVs, drone tech, and site-based inspections? We\'re working with a well-established manufacturer in the Midlands who supply specialist liquid storage solutions to a wide range of sectors across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an ROV/Drone Operator to join their team and support in the inspection and maintenance of tanks nationwide.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Attending client sites across the UK to conduct comprehensive underwater ROV inspections and interventions.
- Compiling clear and detailed assessment reports (including video footage) within 48 hours of inspection.
- Offering technical recommendations on repairs or full tank replacements where required.
- Operating tank cleaning equipment to remove silt and foreign objects (e.g. gloves, debris).
- Supporting marketing initiatives, including using drones for aerial photography and promotion of ROV inspections, cleaning, and refurbishment.
- Assisting in the training of ROV team members in drone operations as needed.
What We\'re Looking For:
- Previous experience operating ROVs and drones (ideally with CAA qualification or similar).
- Technically minded with a keen eye for detail and strong reporting skills.
- Comfortable with UK-wide travel and working on-site in varied environments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
