Property Support Officer


Pay: £13.69 per hour, 37 hours per week, flexible around 8am-5pm
Monday to Friday
Location: Onsite full time, located in Kettering and Corby, applicants must be available to work within both offices.
Length of assignment: 2 months with potential to extend.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for Property Support Officers to join Housing Property Services to provide range of administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Despatching repair jobs for the Corby and Kettering areas
  • Monitoring and responding to repair-related emails
  • Creating, booking, and assigning jobs to operatives
  • Supporting depot operations by covering for sickness and holidays
  • Assisting with workload during high-demand periods alongside existing Despatchers


What We\'re Looking For:

  • Someone who can be trained specifically in despatching tasks
  • A quick learner with strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly between depots as required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear communicator with a proactive attitude
  • Strong administrative skills, time management and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Applications.
  • Scheduling experience is beneficial.
