Prestigious Client based in Daventry is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan, schedule, and monitor production activities in a precision engineering environment. This includes Goods In and Despatch to ensure seamless material flow and timely delivery of finished goods, minimising downtime and optimizing machine and team performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage production workflows to achieve monthly output targets.
- Develop machine schedules and collaborate with the shopfloor.
- Monitor and maintain tool and machinery performance, including engineers.
- Coordinate Goods In and Despatch teams to ensure timely receipt and delivery.
- Manage maintenance of tools and machines.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
- Resolve any production-related problems.
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a production/engineering environment, ideally precision engineering.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in manufacturing.
- Experience coordinating logistics, including Goods In and Despatch.
- Knowledge of Progress Plus and experience managing machine maintenance and shopfloor audits is advantageous.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 2pm.
