What you’ll be doing:
- Wear PPE
- Move and load waste
- Report contamination and non‑compliant waste batteries
- Report all service, safety and environmental concerns
- Work as a team
- Stay in contact with the team on 2‑way radio
- Look out for each other and our customers
- Check all vehicles before using them, report defects
- Stop the job if it’s unsafe, report to line manager
- Stay alert for fires, report smoke, smouldering and flames
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Experience working in an operational environment, Team working skills, Relevant yellow plant ticket / licence
- Desirable: Previous experience in a waste management environment, Effective communication, Time management
