I'm looking for an experienced Food Quality Manager to lead food safety, quality, and compliance across my client's site. This is a key role ensuring products meet all legal, customer, and company standards while driving continuous improvement. My client has over 20 years of success within the UK Food Manufacturing Industry, supplying UK and Worldwide customers with the highest quality ambient food products. They have achieved BRC AA+ and are on a huge upward trajectory, growing in demand and in numbers.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain food safety and quality systems (HACCP, BRCGS/FSSC)
- Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits with the support of the Technical Manager
- Ensure compliance with food legislation and customer requirements
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and customer complaints
- Lead and develop the Quality team and promote a strong food safety culture
About you:
- Proven experience in a Food Quality / Technical Management role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Confident managing audits and stakeholder relationships
- Detail-driven, proactive, and solutions focused
- Background in food manufacturing preferred
