Company Profile: Our client is seeking a Cable Assembler to join their organisation based in Brackmills, Northampton on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be a key team member of their Cables department meeting planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will be working for a market-leading manufacturing business with over 60 years of existence, supplying cabling & e-chains to various industries.
In this Production operative role, some of the duties are:
- Crimping using tools & machinery
- Soldering to IPC standard
- Electrical testing
- Building plastic e-chains
- Reading from schematic diagrams
To be successful as a Production operative you must:
- Have previous experience IPC Soldering
- Have previous experience with manual & machine crimps
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and safely
- Excellent communication
- Desire to work in line with the company values
- Outstanding attendance
