Are you an experienced multi‑skilled production operative or technician looking for a role where your ability, independence, and technical skill are genuinely valued? Our client is looking for a highly capable Multi‑Skilled Technician to join their manufacturing team, building high‑quality roof systems and components. This is a hands‑on, skilled role ideal for someone confident with machinery, problem‑solving, and working to precise specifications.

Duties:

  • Building roof systems from technical drawings
  • Solving build challenges, including bespoke and box‑gutter assemblies
  • Operating a range of workshop equipment, including:
  • Elumatec saws
  • CNC cutting machinery
  • Dewalt chop saws
  • Hand tools
  • Programming and running CNC machines
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and maintenance on tooling and machinery
  • Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency in all work
  • Completing production paperwork
  • Keeping your working area safe, clean, and organised
  • Supporting and guiding other team members when required
  • The Candidate:

    • Strong experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or similar production environments
    • Confident operating CNC machinery (programming experience ideal)
    • Able to read and work from technical drawings
    • Skilled with hand tools and mechanical processes
    • Confident working independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong problem‑solving ability
    • Accurate with paperwork and quality procedures
    • Forklift licence desirable (or willingness to train)
    • Reliable, proactive, and a positive team player
