Our client is hiring a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll be working on a wide range of forklift trucks, telehandlers, counterbalance forklifts, and other material handling equipment (MHE) at client sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance and repair of forklifts, lift trucks, and other MHE
- Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Field-based work with paid door-to-door travel
- Completing service reports and ensuring equipment is safe and compliant
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support on-site
Requirements
- Experienced Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, or Forklift Technician
- Strong understanding of diesel, LPG, and electric forklifts
- Experience with hydraulics, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant, Mechanical, or Vehicle Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
