Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy from Waste company to recruit an EC&I Technician for its site in Milton Keynes. The EC&I Technician role comes with a starting salary of up to £48,000 to £54,000 + benefits package. Responsibilities and duties
- Fault finding, installing and maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) and control systems.
- Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systems.
- Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS).
- Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMS.
- Supervising and directing on site contractors when required.
- Ensuring strict HSE compliance at all times.
Professional qualifications
- Certificate in Safety Instrumented Systems.
- Recognised EC&I Apprenticeship Scheme.
- ONC/HNC in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Personal skills
- Ability to work well alone or in a team.
- Is results focused and can deliver accurate results on time.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
