Purpose of the Role
The Compliance & Risk Co‑Ordinator supports the effective operation of IMServ’s compliance, risk management, and audit processes. The role ensures that ISO audit activity, risk registers, documentation, and evidence are well‑managed and that stakeholders are kept informed and engaged in maintaining compliance standards across the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between IMSERV and the external ISO consultant.
- Schedule, coordinate, and support internal audits across relevant ISO standards.
- Maintain a robust, secure, and accessible evidence management system that meets audit and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate and schedule risk management and compliance training sessions.
- Ensure ISO audit processes are effectively coordinated and supported, enabling successful external and internal audit outcomes.
- Track actions arising from audits, investigations, and compliance activities.
- Ensure compliance and risk training is coordinated, recorded, and monitored to support organisational awareness.
- Ensure actions arising from audits, incidents, and compliance activities are effectively tracked and closed within agreed timescales.
Person Specification
- Experience working in compliance, risk management, governance, or a similar coordination role.
- Experience supporting or coordinating ISO audits (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001).
- Knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high compliance standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail when managing documentation and evidence records.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience maintaining registers, trackers, or structured databases.
- Familiarity with document control systems or compliance software.
- Experience working in a regulated or high‑risk operational environment.
- Compliance, audit, or risk‑related training or certification (desirable).
- ISO internal auditor qualification (advantageous but not essential).
