The role: We are looking for a hands‑on Multi Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (70/30 mechanical bias) with proven hands‑on manufacturing experience. The role will be primarily reactive mechanical maintenance with an element of pre‑planned electrical maintenance and support for approximately 30 production units (extruders, printers & converters). The successful candidate will be mechanical biased and have a strong multi‑skilled background within the manufacturing and warehouse industry.
Job Description / Duties
- Electrical fault finding, PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Building services tasks
- Working as part of a maintenance team to deliver great service to the plant/site
- Emergency light testing
- Changing lamps
- AHU PPMs
- Basic plumbing
- Fire alarm testing
The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations, and breakdowns.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of multi‑skilled maintenance engineering experience (mechanical with electrical certification acceptable).
