Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for Level 3 Electrical Installation (5357) for 18th edition wiring, advanced craft certificate. Experience of 16th or 17th edition is acceptable.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide one-to-one or small group training.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
- Carry out on-site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or assessing, especially with apprentices.
- Must be either assessor or teacher qualified.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum.
- 37 hours per week – start at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 5 p.m.
