Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for Level 3 Electrical Installation (5357) for 18th edition wiring, advanced craft certificate. Experience of 16th or 17th edition is acceptable.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group training.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
  • Carry out on-site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or assessing, especially with apprentices.
  • Must be either assessor or teacher qualified.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum.
  • 37 hours per week – start at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 5 p.m.
