My client is seeking an experienced Systems Accountant with strong NetSuite expertise to support a major finance transformation programme. This role will focus on system optimisation, process improvement, multi-entity integration, and the redesign of core finance workflows across the Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a NetSuite-qualified accountant who excels in change environments and enjoys partnering across Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead NetSuite optimisation and enhancements, including configuration updates, reporting improvements, workflow automation, and user support.
  • Serve as the Group's finance systems expert, driving best practice and improving adoption across all entities.
  • Deliver finance process improvement projects focused on efficiency, control, and standardisation.
  • Support integration activities linked to acquisitions and multi-entity consolidation.
  • Review, map, and redesign finance processes to create scalable, future-proof solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations to embed new processes and system changes effectively.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Monitor new processes post-implementation and refine improvements as needed.
  • Promote a culture of timely, accurate, deadline-driven delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience, including configuration, workflows, reporting, and user support.
  • Proven background as a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Specialist, or hybrid finance/technology role.
  • Experience in finance process redesign, systems improvement, or ERP enhancement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to challenge existing practices constructively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard.

Desirable Attributes
