Job Title:K9 Security Dog Handler

Shift pattern:4 on 4 off – Days and Nights
About Us
Our client is a forward-thinking, privately-owned company and a leading provider of professional, integrated, bespoke security and facilities management services. They deliver flexible and scalable solutions across diverse sectors, including educational settings, healthcare, corporate estate management, warehouse/distribution, retail parks, and more.
We are currently seeking 4 experienced General Purpose (GP) Dog Handlers to join our client security team, providing 24/7 coverage around extensive estate grounds in Northamptonshire (NN6 area).
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out proactive and thorough patrols of the estate grounds
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to suspicious activity
- Alarm response to fire, intruder, or CCTV activations
- Escorting visitors and monitoring contractors on site
- Completing incident reports and liaising with the control room when required
Requirements:
- NASDU Level 2 GP accreditation (must be current and valid)
- Up-to-date vet records for the working dog
- Vehicle equipped for K9 duties
- A valid SIA Licence
- Demonstrable experience in working within a security dog handler role
- Excellent communication and observation skills
