Job Title:K9 Security Dog Handler

Location:Northamptonshire, NN6

Pay Rate:£14.25 per hour

Shift pattern:4 on 4 off – Days and Nights

About Us

Our client is a forward-thinking, privately-owned company and a leading provider of professional, integrated, bespoke security and facilities management services. They deliver flexible and scalable solutions across diverse sectors, including educational settings, healthcare, corporate estate management, warehouse/distribution, retail parks, and more.

We are currently seeking 4 experienced General Purpose (GP) Dog Handlers to join our client security team, providing 24/7 coverage around extensive estate grounds in Northamptonshire (NN6 area).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out proactive and thorough patrols of the estate grounds
  • Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to suspicious activity
  • Alarm response to fire, intruder, or CCTV activations
  • Escorting visitors and monitoring contractors on site
  • Completing incident reports and liaising with the control room when required

Requirements:

  • NASDU Level 2 GP accreditation (must be current and valid)
  • Up-to-date vet records for the working dog
  • Vehicle equipped for K9 duties
  • A valid SIA Licence
  • Demonstrable experience in working within a security dog handler role
  • Excellent communication and observation skills
