We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to join a well-established and growing organisation within the construction and groundworks sector. This is a field-based role, covering sites across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, so flexibility to travel is essential.

Responsibilities of the Heavy Plant Engineer:
- Repairing and maintaining a range of construction plant (up to 30 tonnes)
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on-site
- Working independently across multiple locations
- Ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship
To be successful as a Heavy Plant Engineer:
- Strong experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
- Good understanding of construction plant equipment
- Ability to manage workload and work under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- You may have worked as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Earthmoving Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar
