Our busy Wellingborough based clients are currently seeking an experienced FLT Yard Operative for their modern and innovative facility with immediate effect, on a temp to perm basis.
As industry leaders in the bespoke recycling sector, our clients are committed to a sustainable process at every stage and are eager to work with individuals to develop their knowledge and skillset through training and leadership at phases of their production.
Main Purpose:
- To ensure the Yard operations maximise output and minimise downtime.
- Optimise Yard performance from the start of the process through to the final phase.
- Operating a forklift counterbalance truck.
- This position will require an element of processing work.
- Support relevant Managers and the wider team through hard work, a good attitude and regular communication.
- All other duties as required.
The Role:
- Safely loading and unloading new and finished product from production/yard areas using an FLT.
- Working with the wider team to support the sorting of various material.
- General Machine Minding, Visual Inspection and Basic Quality Control.
- Ensuring working areas are clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Stock allocation and identification using a basic computorised system.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience of working within a production role in an industrial environment.
Essential:
- FLT License β Counterbalance
*This can be up to 5-years out-of-date or an in-house license, however, you will need at least 3-5 years of recent experience on a FLT Counterbalance*
Desirable:
- Telehandler License
- 360 Material Handler License
Hours of Work:
- Monday β Friday, 8am to 4pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Pay:
- Β£12.50 per hour.
