EPOS Field Engineer
Contract Length: Initial 4-week contract
Start Date: Week Commencing 20th October (Training WC 13th October)
Rate: £170 day (Inside IR35)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm (10-hour days, 8 hours expected on-site)
Location: Northampton (depot-based collections/drop-offs)
Van & Mileage: Van provided (max 6 points on licence). Mileage paid at 30ppm based on 500 miles a week (pro rata).


Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced EPOS Field Engineer to support a nationwide upgrade of lottery terminals across retail environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove legacy EPOS lottery terminals and install updated hardware.
  • Ensure correct setup, testing, and handover of equipment on-site.
  • Travel to and from a designated regional depot to collect new kit and return old devices (likely on a fortnightly basis).


Requirements

  • Strong, hands-on experience in EPOS installations and decommissions.
  • Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues on-site, and follow structured rollout plans.
  • Comfortable with daily travel and field-based work.
  • Valid UK driving licence (max 6 points) - van provided.
