The Role
Aspire People are recruiting compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children and young people with additional needs in mainstream and specialist schools across Northamptonshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, or physical disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support for pupils with EHCPs
- Promote independence and positive engagement
- Assist teachers with inclusive classroom practice
- Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
- Record progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Calm, empathetic and patient approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Term-time availability, 8:30am β 3:30pm
