The Role

Aspire People are recruiting compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children and young people with additional needs in mainstream and specialist schools across Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support for pupils with EHCPs
• Promote independence and positive engagement
• Assist teachers with inclusive classroom practice
• Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
• Record progress and communicate effectively with staff and families

Requirements

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Calm, empathetic and patient approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Full driving licence and own vehicle
• Term-time availability, 8:30am – 3:30pm
