Civils Site Agent / Project Manager – Earthworks Northapton / Buckinghamshire £420 per day (Outside IR35) We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent with a strong earthworks background to join a major highways infrastructure project based in Cambridge. The project involves large-scale earthworks operations as part of a nationally significant highways upgrade. Earthworks, Heavy Civils, mostly NEC. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day earthworks operations on site. Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Coordinate with the project manager, engineers, and planners to align construction activities with the programme. Manage and monitor health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Review and implement RAMS and method statements for earthworks activities. Ensure accurate site documentation including daily diaries, progress reports, and material reconciliations. Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and third parties as required. Requirements: Proven experience in Earthworks on major civil engineering or highways projects. Strong working knowledge of earthworks techniques, haul roads, muck shift, compaction, testing and mass haul planning. Previous experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent on large infrastructure schemes. SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications. Excellent understanding of HSEQ standards and regulations. Able to read technical drawings and provide input into buildability reviews. Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable: Experience with Earthworks Temporary works coordination knowledge. Civil Engineering degree or HNC/HND (preferred but not essential). #J-18808-Ljbffr
