The Recipe (About the Role)
This position will work to oversee all soft service facilities activities throughout the organisation, ensuring they are conducted safely and comply with both external and internal regulations. This helps to enhance our operations in both production and non‑production areas. Additionally, you will assist the Facilities Manager for Soft Services by playing a key role in safely managing and enhancing standards and service delivery across all locations, while also focusing on maintaining cost efficiency.
Ensure delivery of key services such as cleaning, pest control, waste management, laundry, security, grounds management, catering, and water coolers. Responsibilities vary by service and are distributed among the team for optimal delivery. Act as the main contact for contract management, including work authorisations, permits, and reviewing risk assessments. Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to ensure timely and complete service delivery. Monitor and report on service activities against KPIs and budgets. Communicate with stakeholders to align services with current and emerging needs. Identify and implement innovative solutions within contractual limits, or recommend pursuing alternatives.

Key Know How
- Good knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety procedures, including risk management.
- Good knowledge of Quality procedures, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Experience in supervising, coordinating or assisting soft services or directly relatable activities.
Desirable Skills
- Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience.
- Performance‑based contract management cost centre management.
- Delivery of improvement projects.
- IOSH/NEBOSH Certification.
- Knowledge of Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRC/BRCGS).
