My client is a food waste processing company based in Rushden, and they require a Plant Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or mechanical) on a temp to perm basis.
Responsibilities
- The role is to maintain the plant using the most cost-effective work methodology resulting in the highest up time possible.
- The role is to work within company work procedures and protocols and to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances.
Qualifications
- The ideal person will have worked in a similar environment (such as Water) and have extensive experience of pump repairs and maintenance routines.
- You will also have a variety of industry related qualifications and experience such as NEBOSH, confined spaces, working at heights, PLC controls etc.
- You will also need a full driving license and ideally a Telehandler license.
Hours and Working Conditions
- Hours of work are likely to be 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday.
- Start and finish times to be confirmed but could be rotating early and late shifts or on a shift pattern.
- The work environment is smelly as you will be working within a food waste processing environment.
- Full PPE will be provided.
